We use hot wax that is especially formulated to be safe and gentle while at the same time discouraging new hair growth. We use disposable, hygeinic, waxing tools on each guest.
Please be sure that hair is 1/8 inch or longer in order for the wax to adhere properly.

*Prior and Post Surfacing Notes*
Please note these important prior and post resurfacing facts when considering a refining or chemical resurfacing treatment. Prior to the beginning of a resurfacing or refining treatment a facial is required so that the esthetician may complete a comprehensive skin analysis using the Woods Lamp as well as perform a patch test to determine your individual skin care needs before proceeding with a treatment. An at home skin care regime is mandatory and will be prescribed by the esthetician with the expectation that it be followed by the client for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to their first peel.
Each resurfacing treatment series is applied on a recurring basis for a time period of up to six weeks. The exception to this is the Jessners and Salicylic treatments. Your esthetician will determine the cycle for these treatments.
Each client must read and sign a Customer Acknowledgement Release form. This is so that it is ensured that they fully understand the treatment itself and any contraindications. Individuals with unrealistic expectations should not seek resurfacing treatments. Your esthetician will discuss your expectations with you upon consultation. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first appointment time to complete necessary client intake information. | |
